Die Waenhuis sleeps up to max 4 people ~ from R700 per night for the unit (up to two people) plus R150 extra each for any additional guests.

Terms and Conditions

Bookings:

All bookings require an immediate 50 % deposit to confirm. Full payment to be made 1 week prior to booking in. Breakage deposit will be paid in cash when booking in.

Cancellation policy on short stays (less than 1 month): 75% refund on 2 weeks cancellation notice.

50% Refund on 1 week cancellation notice.

0% Refund on Cancellation notice less than 72 hours.

Cancellation policy on Long term stays (longer than 1 month):

We need 1 month’s notice on canceling your upcoming long-term stay and the refund % will be determined by the Host/Owner considering the reason for cancellation.

Booking in Time: Between 15h00 and 18h00 or pre-arranged

Booking out Time: Latest at 10h00

House Rules:

1. The breakage deposit is only refundable after inspection when booking out.

2. Guests will be held accountable for any damage caused during their stay.

3. We are situated in a residential area and low noise levels are expected.

4. We are a strictly non-smoking facility.

5. Cape Town is under permanent water restrictions and we kindly advise to use water sparingly.

6. As we are all aware, there is a constant scarcity of, as well as the high cost of electricity and we therefor expect our guests to follow the good moral of ‘Waste not, Want not’. Please switch off lights when not in use.

7. Loadshedding: Chargeable lights are made available in both units. Please ensure that they are plugged in and charged.

8. You are aware that Die Herberg has loft units and you are entering the premises at your own risk. You will receive an indemnity form to sign when booking in.

9. Please ensure that no valuables are left in plain site in your vehicle at night.

10. Entrance keys are to be kept safely and all gates and doors to be secured at all times.
